HuManS Foundation
Through our HuManS Foundation, we have been making regular donations for years to nonprofit organizations and social projects both in Germany and abroad. Our goals are to support people to help themselves, bridge ideological divides, and promote intercultural dialogue, tolerance, and political education. 14% of our annual corporate profits goes directly to the foundation.

Sustainability in Everyday Work
Climate Initiative
As part of our Climate Initiative, colleagues volunteer their time to address issues related to sustainability, Green IT, and responsible digitalization. Together, we develop ideas, implement measures in our day-to-day operations, and explore how technology can be made more sustainable.

Soft Skills Café
Communication is an important part of our daily work. That’s why the Soft Skills Café offers a safe space to reflect on and practice challenging communication situations from everyday work life together. In small groups, participants practice conversational scenarios through role-playing exercises.

Parent Exchange
Parents’ Café
Balancing work and family often brings new challenges. Our Parents’ Café offers mothers, fathers, and expectant parents the opportunity to discuss the day-to-day realities of working life with children, share experiences, and learn from one another. In a relaxed atmosphere, conversations naturally arise, often leading to helpful tips for everyday family life.

Women's Visibility in IT
Women’s Initiative
In 2025, we launched our Women’s Initiative to strengthen networking among women at HMS and raise the visibility of their perspectives in the male-dominated IT industry. In our internal women’s network, female colleagues share experiences, ideas, and topics that matter to them. Voluntary lunches and after-work gatherings create additional opportunities for informal interaction. Together, we continue to develop the initiative and try out new formats and activities.
